SOME COMMON QUESTIONS WITH ANSWERS.

WHAT IS A “CURBSIDE CAFE”? “Curbside Cafe” is our descriptive name for a Take-Out and Delivery Only restaurant. Just pull up, park, order/pick-up at the window or order delivery and stay where you are.

Help Us Out! We do not have seating nor restrooms for the customers. Our Health Department Certificate does not allow customers to eat on site or use our restroom. With our business model relying completely on delivery and take-out we ask that you do not eat in our parking lot. We have limited parking and rely completely on all parking spots. As the saying goes “you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here!”

WHAT IF I HAVE AN ALLERGY TO AN INGREDIENT? If you have a special request for HAPPYJAXX TO REMOVE a particular ingredient because of an allergy you may request this BUT please acknowledge that HAPPYJAXX must store and process a wide variety of ingredients in close proximity to each other AND we use some products made by third parties. Because of this we cannot guarantee the absence of an ingredient from your order EVEN if that ingredient is not listed in the item you purchased. HAPPYJAXX processes nuts, seafood, dairy, wheat, soy, pickled & fermented items and many other ingredients know to cause allergic reactions in some individuals at its’ facility.

WHERE DOES HAPPYJAXX DELIVER?

Delivery Zone limits are set by our Delivery Partners. Please note that our food is made fresh to order and is best eat ASAP. We want to keep hot food hot and cold food cold which can be an issue if you choose delivery from 30 minutes away.

WHEN ARE HAPPYJAXX SERVICE HOURS?

SOFT OPENING HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY 10AM to 2PM.

Check online stores on Toast, UBER EATS, DOOR DASH and GRUB HUB for current hours. HAPPYJAXX plans to be open MONDAY-FRIDAY from 10AM - 8PM in the near future and perhaps Saturday. Stay tuned!

DOES HAPPYJAXX CATER?

We take orders of any size but we do not utilize special catering size packaging. Example: if you would like to order Salad for Ten then you would purchase 10 Salads. If you have a large order perhaps call us first. We like to make things happen. We do have a 5% discount on all orders over $60.00 that is always available and is applied automatically.

IS THERE A DELIVERY CHARGE?

Yes. Our Delivery Partners charge fees to HAPPYJAXX for their services. The bulk of this cost is included in the online menu prices. However, these Delivery Partners charge delivery fees to you directly in addition to the cost of the food items. Please refer to your Delivery Platform for their fees. You can also order online for pick up or come by and order at the window for no additional fees.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL OR MODIFY MY ORDER?

We make food to order. We immediately start preparing food the moment your order is processed by our online ordering partners. In effect the moment you confirm payment HAPPYJAXX receives your order. If you need to cancel your order do so immediately via your Delivery App or by calling us with your Order Name. Generally there is a 10 minute window of time to cancel an order after is forwared to us.

HOW IS MY ORDER PACKAGED for DELIVERY?

We have a Packaging Waste Reduction Policy. We design our delivery and packaging system to reduce the amount of packaging waste we produce. Your Order is generally packaged in bio-degradable packaging (occasionally supply issues prevent this). We like to keep hot food with hot food and cold food with cold food. individual food items are packaged in closable or sealed containers that are then placed in bags that are again stapled, tied or sealed with a sticker. Delivery Drivers should delivery bags that are sealed however sometimes staples do not hold, tape fails, etc. If you feel your order has been tampered with, please examine closely and contact your Delivery Service and HAPPYJAXX.
